We strive to meet the needs of our church and communities in a variety of ways
Youth & Family Ministry
The Two Cities Church Youth & Family Ministry is a collection of families striving to be Christ-centered in our approach to raising families. This ministry provides a place for pre-teens (5th-6th grade), young teens (7th-8th grade), and high school teens (9th-12th grade) to assemble together to not only have fun but also grow in their curiosity on their journey with God.
As a family of disciples, we believe that it takes the entire spiritual community to raise our children. This is a guiding principle in building a healthy culture where we encourage and empower the parents to be involved in the spiritual development of their children. All our activities (e.g. teen devotionals, serving activities, fun events) are aimed to create this dynamic between the youth and their parents.
The Youth & Family ministry is led by Michael and MyCresha Burns. Jonathan and Katie Mathurin lead the 11th and 12th grade community. Kyle and Sadie Schwebach lead the 9th and 10th grade community. And Ben Gallogly and his sister Tia Gallogly lead the 7th and 8th grade grade community.
The College Ministry in the Two Cities Church strives to build discipleship communities on the various college campuses in the Minneapolis and St.Paul area. Currently, there are discipleship groups at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, St. Paul College, Minneapolis College, and Metropolitan State College.
Our hope, prayer, and vision are that, through our dependence on God and His Spirit, we will see all campuses within the metropolitan area of the Twin Cities have discipleship communities of eight to ten disciples. We believe this will only happen through our continual growth in loving God, through building deep and meaningful relationships with one another and loving those around us. We welcome anyone who desires to pursue this goal with us.
Our College ministry is led by Reo and Rachel Allen. Please feel free to contact them with any and all questions! Click here for more information; they would love to hear from you.
