Leadership
Pastor
Adam Brice was born and raised in Indiana, and is proud to be a Hoosier. After college he was briefly involved in campus ministry in Michigan, where he met his wife, Liz. They married and moved to Philadelphia, where Adam attended seminary and planted a church that he served as pastor for 9 years. They are excited to be back in the Midwest, and helping to plant a church in a university setting. Adam’s other interests include reading, gardening, home improvement, sports, kayaking canoeing, chess, classical guitar, hanging out with friends, and traveling when he gets the chance. Adam and Liz have three children: Isabelle , Noah, and Emily. Contact Adam.
Elders
Jerry Mott moved to Indiana after meeting his wife in a Christian college in the Chicago area and working there for several years. They raised their two daughters in Muncie while he served several years as an elder at Westminster PCA church. In 2007, they moved to Lafayette to live closer to their married daughters in the Chicago area. He volunteers part time at Habitat for Humanity and enjoys woodworking, reading, baking, and spending time with his four grand-children. His wife, Carol, is a counselor at a local agency. Alex Pothen was born in Munnar, a beautiful hill-station in south India (not Indiana!). He came to the U.S. for graduate studies, and since then has taught at several academic institutions in the U.S. and Canada. He committed his life to Christ when he was in graduate school. Alex is married to Bobbie, and they have four grown children who are pursuing professional studies or are working. He is interested in studying how to integrate faith and science within a career in academia. His other interests include reading, watching mysteries and comedies, following soccer and cricket, hiking, and travel. Contact Alex.
Deacon
Jason Kong hails from southern California and made his way to the east coast for graduate school. He has currently made a home for himself in the Midwest working as an analytical chemist for the state of Indiana. When he’s not preoccupied with the next big pesticide case, he can often be found at his home weeding, cooking, and bicycling around the city. He’s somewhat obsessed with Dietrich Bonhoeffer and his dog, Noodle, though he’s never quite sure which obsession is greater. Occasionally he works part-time as an adjunct faculty for Chemistry at Ivy Tech Community College. Contact Jason.
